Why does an event like

‘The Edge’ need to happen?

In today’s missions landscape there needs to be a loud and clear advocate for the unreached and unengaged. A specific focus on long-term cross-cultural church planting among the neediest people of the world. You might think that sounds specific. It is.

But it’s by no means restrictive. Here’s why.

41.5% of People Groups

Are Unreached

2.2 Billion People

Live with virtually no access to the Gospel

47.2% Of  All Languages

have all, or some of the Bible translated

The Task is Far From Complete

The last 150 years of ‘missionary activity’ has been effective in some areas, and spectacularly unsuccessful in others. What made the difference? What factors can determine the likelihood of a church thriving and maturing?

Crossview’s CONNECT training is aimed at this type of cross-cultural ministry. We seek to empower the local church as it endeacours to reach out and meet the challenge of God’s global mission which is far from finished.
